I work hard to take great care of my customers. They are my top priority.

Gibson Eatherly says he is a "people person" and his customers are "like family to him."

"I care about my customers personally and professionally," he says.

Growing up on a farm in a small community, Gibson says, "Hard work was normal, and everyone looked after each other like family. The lessons I learned as I was growing up have followed me in my banking career, so I work hard to take great care of my customers; and they are my top priority."

With 16 years of banking experience, Gibson spent the first several years of his career in loan review and credit administration, and he had an opportunity to see firsthand what kinds of financial decisions work well for businesses and individuals. "I can help customers think through certain situations that they may face in today’s economy so they can make wise decisions when it comes to their finances," he says.

A 2000 graduate of the University of Mississippi, Gibson received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major – Banking and Finance, and Managerial Finance. He also completed studies at the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and the Mississippi School of Banking.

A resident of Madison, and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Gibson says he loves hunting and spending time with his family.

He also says he enjoys working for a community bank like Citizens National where he has an opportunity to create and nurture relationships that provide value to the Bank and to the community.

"Family comes first," Gibson says, "and I am blessed with a great family at home and an extended family through my day to day interaction with my customers."
