I genuinely care about my customers, and I take time to listen to what is important to them in a banking relationship.

With over 20 years in banking, Kristi Tew has served as a bank manager for the majority of those years.  Simply mention her name, and her peers will tell you that she has been highly regarded as one of the most outstanding bank managers you'll find anywhere.  Recently, our Bank presented Kristi with an opportunity to become a CNB Relationship Banker, and we are thrilled that Kristi accepted this challenge.  Our commercial customers already give us rave reviews on the value that she brings to their banking relationship.   She also takes time to continually learn about new business banking services that can create greater efficiencies for the clients that she serves.

"I've always believed in working hard and doing whatever it takes to serve my customers," Kristi said.  "I genuinely care about my customers, and I take time to listen to what is important to them in a banking relationship.  By listening, I can make the best recommendations possible so they can achieve their financial goals," she added.  "I recently asked one of my clients and close friends to tell me how she would describe me.  She said I’m ‘energetic, knowledgeable, and accommodating.’  I was humbled by her response, but those are definitely qualities that I try to demonstrate on a daily basis," Kristi said.

Kristi joined the CNB team in 2014 as manager of our Downtown Meridian Banking Center and Medical Center Express Bank and has been recognized consistently through CNB's High Performance Award Program.  In addition, she is also a recipient of the Bank's prestigious Citizens of Excellence Award, which recognizes bank managers who exemplify characteristics such as maintaining a positive attitude, standing out among peers, and exhibiting strong leadership qualities while producing results.

Kristi also has prior experience as a Registered Sales Assistant with AmSouth Investment Services.  When we asked Kristi about her greatest professional accomplishments, she said that passing the Series 7 and 63 Insurance license exams on the first attempt is definitely near the top of her list.

A 1996 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Accounting, Kristi also received her Associate Arts degree from Meridian Community College in 1994 and graduated with High Honors.  She is also a 1992 graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and finished third in her class.

Kristi loves loves working with her community and can't wait to take action as a new member of the Women's Alliance of Meridian. She is also a board member of the United Way of East Mississippi.

Away from the Bank, Kristi spends a lot of time watching softball games as her two daughters, Regan and Kinley, are following in their mom's footsteps with a genuine love for playing the game.  Her son Miles is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Southern Mississippi with the goal of becoming a nurse anesthetist.  Kristi's husband Jeremy is the owner of Tew Forest Management, LLC in Meridian, and the family attends Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church in Meridian.

With a competitive nature of her own, Kristi loves seeing her customers win in terms of their financial goals.  So be sure and contact Kristi soon so that she can put the Power of Local to work for you!
