When Nathan Shows joined the Bank in 2009, he hit the ground running, and he hasn’t slowed down since.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is also a 2011 graduate of the Leadership Pinebelt program, which brings together emerging and existing leaders who are committed to shaping the community both economically and socially. The eight-month program involved everything from team-building exercises to visits out in the community to a final project through which the Leadership Pinebelt participants proposed solutions to specific needs in the area.
Nathan is also a strong believer in the good work that is carried out by Homes of Hope for Children and continually serves on some of their fund-raising committees, including the annual golf tournament and annual skeet shoot.
While Nathan spent his first several years at Citizens National as a Bank Manager in Hattiesburg, he says he really enjoys his role as a Relationship Banker. “I enjoy working for a community bank like Citizens National, where I get the opportunity to go out and visit with my customers and get to know them personally,” he said. “We bring the Bank to you." Elaborating on describing his approach to banking, Nathan said, “I always try to listen to my customers and do what is best for them and make it easy for them."
Residents of the Sumrall community, Nathan and his family attends Venture Church in Hattiesburg.
Nathan is a banker who rarely sits still and makes great things happen for both his customers and his community. We are proud to have him on our team!
