Here at Citizens National Bank, we're so proud to have Tim Leitaker on our team. Having grown up in Carthage, he's a terrific fit to serve as our Carthage and Kosciusko Market President. Not only does he take pride in living here, but he has a strong work ethic and wants his customers to know they can count on him when they need him the most.
"I sincerely care about the well-being of my customers and work hard to help them find the solutions they need to be successful," he said. "Every day, I also strive to earn my customers' trust and be as proactive as possible," he added.
With 27 years of banking experience, Tim began his banking career with Citizens National in 1994, serving as an Assistant Vice President in the Bank’s Laurel market.
Over the course of his career, he has served as a City President for AmSouth Bank in Vicksburg, as an Executive Vice President for Heritage Banking Group in Carthage, and most recently as an Executive Vice President for Community Bank in Brandon, Miss.
He is a 1991 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and family means everything to him. He and his wife, Tammy, are the proud parents of a son, Parker, who is 21 years old, and the family attends First Baptist Church in Carthage.
Active in the community, Tim is a member of the Leake Academy Athletic Foundation and enjoys hand grabbing catfish (also known as noodling), playing golf, and watching football and baseball games at Mississippi State.
Be sure and stop by the Bank where Tim would love to say “hi” and get to know you better. He's extremely friendly, a real team player, and sets a great example for all of his teammates at the Bank. It's the Power of Local at its best.
