If you're searching for a relationship banker who is extremely approachable and committed to getting things done, then Tyler Covington will be a terrific choice as your financial partner.
Having gained valuable experience in the Bank's Credit Administration Department as well as our branch locations, Tyler says "I want to do everything in my power to help all my customers accomplish their goals and dreams."
Hard work is simply second nature to Tyler, since he grew up working on a cattle farm just outside of Meridian. Today, he enjoys working hard to better his community. A 2016 graduate of the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation's Leadership Lauderdale program, Tyler serves as EMBDC Ambassador and member of the Young Professionals of Meridian, and is Vice President of the MSU Alumni Chapter in Lauderdale County. He continues his volunteer efforts as being a member of the Queen City Ducks Unlimited Chapter located in Meridian, Mississippi.
A golf enthusiast, Tyler can often be found playing a round of golf at one of the area courses, playing basketball, going to the gym, or cheering on his alma mater, Mississippi State University, with his wife at various sporting events. He is also a graduate of the Barrett School of Banking in Memphis through the Commercial Lending Academy. Tyler and his wife, Amy, have two boys, Myles and Hayes, and are also members of First Baptist Church in Meridian where he serves on the Finance and Personnel Committees.
As much as he stays busy, Tyler says that he tries to be as accessible as possible to his customers and wants them to know that they can call him anytime when they need him. "I expect a lot out of myself and I am a goal oriented person," he added.
At Citizens National Bank, we admire all of Tyler's qualities, and we are proud to have him on our team.
