2017 Readers' Choice Awards

Recently, the readers of The Meridian Star, Meridian’s daily newspaper, were asked to cast their vote as to who’s the best in a variety of categories.  The ballots have been submitted, the votes have been counted, and CNB won several prestigious awards.  We were recognized as the Best Bank, Best Mortgage Company, and Best in Financial Planning. In addition, John McRae was named Best Financial Advisor.

Voters also choose a Man of the Year, and we are pleased to report that Hampton Thames was the recipient of this prestigious honor.  Hampton has had an amazing career in banking over the past 28 years, and he assumed the position of CNB’s Bank President in May of 2016.  In addition, he is incredibly involved in the community.

Thanks to everyone in the Meridian area who voted in this contest and showed your support for the local businesses in our area.  And most of all, thank you to our employees, who go the extra mile to serve our customers so we can continue being the best.  That’s the Power of Local!
