Jeana Bennett Promoted to Senior Vice President

Jeana Bennett has been promoted to the position of a Senior Vice President at Citizens National Bank.  Bennett joined the Bank in August 2012 and since that time, has developed and managed the Bank’s Private Banking Division.

In her position, she specializes in the banking needs of executive and medical professionals in the community, including both consumer and commercial related products.  Since she serves as a direct liaison with her clients and the Bank’s entire team of banking professionals, her clients are able to complete their transactions with one relationship banker.  From opening deposit accounts, loans, and mortgages, Jeana and her team have the tools necessary for a successful completion.

Hampton Thames, Bank President, recently commented:  “We are extremely fortunate to have Jeana on our team.  Her extensive background in the field of healthcare, plus her commitment to be continually available and responsive to her clients has enabled her to steadily grow our client base in this area of the Bank.  She shares our vision of providing specialized services to our Private Banking clients and builds strong relationships with each client that she serves,” he added.

A native of Meridian, Bennett is extremely well known in the community, having served in a number of key positions in the Meridian and surrounding areas throughout her professional career.  Prior to joining the Bank, she served as Director of Operations for Anderson Regional Medical Center’s Physician Alliance, and also previously served at Rush Foundation Hospital where she specialized in physician recruitment.

She attended Meridian Community College and the University of Alabama, where she majored in Marketing and Communications.  Her community involvement includes service as a volunteer with the local Ducks Unlimited Planning Committee, and also as a board member with the Distinguished Young Women of Mississippi Program.

She and her husband, Bo, have been married for 31 years and are members of Central United Methodist Church. Their son, Brandon, and his wife Brittany, have a son Ridge, and live in Collinsville; while their daughter, Bonnie Holloman, and her husband Alex, live in Brandon.  Jeana has also been appointed to serve on the Staff Parrish Relations Committee for Central United Methodist Church beginning in January 2017.
