Power of Local Scolarship

Citizens National Bank recently awarded its $500 Power of Local Scholarship to L. C. Clemons III who is graduating from Noxubee County High School this year. High school seniors in Noxubee County were invited to apply for the scholarship by writing an essay which summarized their career goals and how they plan to meet them. In addition to the essay, the applicants were required to have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and meet the Bank's criteria for financial need. L.C. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Clemons of Brooksville. He will be attending Mississippi Valley State University in the fall where he will be pursuing a degree in physical therapy and also playing football for the University.
