Brenda Sheffield was recently promoted to the position of Senior Relationship Banking Group Assistant in the Meridian Region. Brenda joined the Bank in October 2014 and has 19 years of banking experience. Neil Henry, President of CNB’s Meridian Region, recently commented: “Brenda is a key contributor to the success of our Region —working closely with our Relationship Bankers and RBGAs. Her work ethic is second to none, and we’re blessed to have her. Personally, I’ve had the privilege to work with Brenda numerous times throughout my twenty years in banking. She’s always taken pride in assisting her coworkers and customers and has always performed at a very high level. Brenda is very deserving of this recognition as Senior RBGA and will continue to excel with our bank.”
Originally from North Vernon, Indiana, Brenda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in the Management of Technical Operations from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. She also served in the U.S. Navy from 1986 to 1993 and was stationed in both Florida and Hawaii. Locally, she is involved as a member of the Civitan Club and also enjoys attending Midway Baptist Church.

Assistant Bank Manager - Downtown Banking Center
Nathan Powell was recently promoted to Assistant Bank Manager at CNB’s Downtown Banking Centre. He joined the Bank in October 2016 and has been a true asset to our Downtown Banking Centre team since that time. As Neil said, “Nathan continues to perform at a high level
and is always eager to help his team members and provide excellent service to our customers. On
many occasions, I’ve been pulled aside by some of Nathan’s customers acknowledging that Nathan followed up from their already great experience at the Bank with a hand written note mailed to their house. As we all know, it’s the little things that make a big deal and Nathan is making a big deal everyday with our customers! It will be great to see Nathan grow more in his role under Kristi Tew’s leadership and guidance and we look forward to seeing great things from Nathan in the future!”
A graduate of Enterprise High School and East Central Community College, Nathan received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from MSU Meridian in May 2016. He and his wife, Holly, have been married since 2017, and they enjoy attending Hebron Baptist Church in the Little Rock community where his dad serves as pastor.
