Teresa Thornhill - Leading Business Women in Mississippi Top 10
Teresa Thornhill, Chief Wealth Management Officer for Citizens National Bank, has been named as one of the Top 10 Leading Business Women in Mississippi by the Mississippi Business Journal. This prestigious award is presented to women throughout the state on the basis of their personal and business achievement. In addition to receiving this honor, Teresa was also recently recognized as one of the 2016 Leaders in Finance by the same publication.
The Leaders in Finance award, which is in its third year, recognizes professionals in the finance, banking and CPA sector whose fiscal work has set the pace for their company and the region. In addition, honorees are selected based on industry and community involvement and achievement through their energy and innovative ideas.
As Chief Wealth Management Officer, Thornhill oversees the administration and management of $970 million in assets and leads strategic initiatives for the Wealth Management Division, which specializes in the accumulation, preservation, and transfer of wealth.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Thornhill has held NASD licenses 7, 24, 27, and 53 and 63. She is also a former NASD Arbitrator and MSRB Advisory Committee member. Currently she serves on The Montgomery Institute Board as well as the board for the Meridian Museum of Art.
