United Way Campaign Success

Congratulations to our CNB employees in Hattiesburg for their outstanding level of giving as a Campaign Pacesetter for the United Way of Southeast Mississippi.

This year, 100% of our employees from Hattiesburg Main, South Hattiesburg, and West Hattiesburg contributed to this year’s campaign and their donations totaled over $15,660.

Our Bank was the only Platinum level recipient from the United Way of Southeast Mississippi last year and we have achieved that same status for the upcoming year.

Lori Siccone, Bank Manager at South Hattiesburg, served as Campaign Chairperson for Team CNB, and Jaclyn Baylis, CNB Relationship Banker, continues to serve on the Board of the United Way of Southeast Mississippi.

Early in the campaign, CNB’s South MS Regional President, Kevin Brewer, promised his team members that he would take a seat in a dunking booth if they achieved 100% participation, and Kevin made good on his promise earlier this month. He allowed both employees and their children to dunk him repeatedly – all in fun and for a good cause.

Also, in connection with the fundraising drive, the Hattiesburg employees had an opportunity to place their name in a drawing to win some great prizes compliments of CNB. Winners of the prizes were as follows:

  • $50 Gift Card to Sully’s Restaurant - Latoya Bunch, CSR, South Hattiesburg
  • Unlimited Throws to Dunk Kevin in the Dunking Booth –  Latoya Bunch, CSR, South Hattiesburg
  • 3 Throws at Kevin in the Dunking Booth – Ariel Russell, Mortgage Originator, and Jennifer Busby, Hattiesburg Banking Centre
  • One Day of Vacation – Lori Siccone, Bank Manager, South Hattiesburg
  • $100 Walmart Gift Card – Sean Priebe, Financial Advisor with Raymond James

In addition, all Grand Givers and Emerging Grand Givers were allowed to make three throws each at Kevin in the dunking booth. Grand Givers are employees who donated $1,000 or more to the campaign, and Emerging Grand Givers are individuals who have increased their level of giving from $500 to $750 to $1,000 over a three-year period.

In addition to the employee donations, the Bank made a corporate donation in the amount of $2,000 and will be contributing another $2,000 in early 2023 to help sponsor an event for the non-profit.

Way to go, Team Hattiesburg, for making a difference in your local community!
