During the 1st quarter, the West Region supported the Mississippi Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), and through our fundraising efforts, we were able to provide them with an $800 donation. This was a very heartfelt opportunity for our region to give back not only to a worthy cause but to support members of our CNB family as well. David Jackson (Castlewoods) and Ken Graeber (Madison) have both taken on very active roles with the organization, in addition to both serving as Board Members.
We raised donations by selling World’s Finest Chocolate in each of our branches but our involvement didn’t stop there. We also participated in their annual Great Strides 5K Run/ Walk held on Saturday, April 7 at 8:30 AM at The Club at Township in Ridgeland. Our participants were part of the 130 runners and walkers who braved the cold and rain in order to show their support! The nine individuals representing the West Region Team consisted of employees as well as family members. What a great opportunity to support such a worthy cause and make a positive impact on our community. That’s “The Power of Local!”
