Nan Watkins has joined Citizens National Bank as a Vice President and Mortgage Originator. With over 31 years of banking experience, Nan has spent 23 of those years of in mortgage lending. Neil Henry, President of the Bank’s Meridian Region, recently commented: “Nan is an expert when it comes to mortgage loan products, and she is highly motivated to assist her clients in finding the home loan that best fits their needs. In addition, she also has an excellent relationship with local realtors, and is committed to providing exceptional service to every client that she serves,” he added.
For the past 16 years, Watkins has been employed with Trustmark National Bank in Meridian – first as a Vice President and Mortgage Originator, and later as an Underwriter. “Her in-depth knowledge of the mortgage application process, as well as her extensive experience in meeting her customers’ expectations is an asset to her, and enables her to streamline the application process as much as possible for her customers,” Henry added.
Her peers also recognize her excellence in the mortgage lending profession, as she was previously named “Affiliate of the Year” by the Meridian Board of Realtors. In addition, she is a member of the Mississippi Mortgage Bankers Association, and is a certified Home Buyer Education Counselor.
She and her husband, Steve, are members of First Baptist Church in Collinsville and they have a son, a daughter, and a grandson. In recent years, she has enjoyed her involvement in the Collinsville Lions Club, and is a past recipient of the Club’s Distinguished Service Award.
