Scott Evans Joins Citizens National Bank

Scott Evans recently joined CNB’s West Region as Manager of our Pear Orchard Banking Centre.

Scott most recently served as a Branch Sales Manager for Regions Bank in Ridgeland, MS and has over 14 years of experience in sales and retail management positions. During the course of his career, he has also served as a Wal-Mart Store Manager in Flowood, MS where he managed over 350 associates and as a Business Solutions Specialist for T-Mobile where he was responsible for the Business Sales Development and Training of all retail locations in four states.

A 2003 graduate of Mississippi State University, Scott received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management, and he is also a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School.

As a new member of the CNB team, Scott says that he is already enjoying the fact that “we have a small family culture here, yet we are more than able to compete with the larger banks in what we have to offer. The Power of Local is also extremely valuable in this ever changing banking industry,” he said, “While bigger banks are losing their focus on customer relationships; it’s great to know that those relationships matter to CNB. It’s a better way to bank!” he added.

Scott and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, are proud parents of a 3-year old daughter, Mary Clyde Evans, and their family attends Pinelake Church in Brandon. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth league sports such as soccer, football, and baseball.

Citizens National Bank is an independent, Mississippi-based community bank, with 26 locations in the following cities: Meridian, Quitman, Philadelphia, Columbus, Kosciusko, Carthage, Macon, Southaven, Olive Branch, Hattiesburg, Laurel, Waynesboro, Flowood, Ridgeland, and Madison.
