Katie Hatter has recently experienced several of her personal dreams coming true, so it just comes natural that she enjoys helping others to realize their dreams of homeownership.
With 19 years of mortgage lending experience in the Jackson area, Katie joined Citizens National in July 2018 as Mortgage Lending Group Assistant and was soon promoted to the position of Mortgage Originator at the Bank’s Castlewoods office. Her high energy and positive approach to serving her clients have made her a natural fit as a Mortgage Originator at the Bank.
In June of 2019, her joy continued as she married her husband, Craig. Katie has a son and a daughter, while her husband, Craig’s daughter, Charlee, and her husband, have a two-year old daughter, who calls Katie “Gigi,” so life is good.
Originally from Brandon, Katie attended both Hinds Community College and Belhaven University. At Hinds Community College, she received an Associate’s degree in Secondary Education. While at Belhaven University, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Katie says she is very excited to help her clients with all of their home loan needs. “I’m committed to educating my clients and guiding them towards financial success when they are purchasing or refinancing a home,” she says. “Sometimes the thought of making such a major purchase can be scary, but my goal is to help my clients every step of the way, so they can feel at ease throughout the entire process,” she said.
In her free time, Katie enjoys playing with her 3-year-old English Bulldog, “Judge,” and her 14-year old black cat, who is affectionately known as “Kit Cat.”
If you are looking for someone who is highly motivated and committed to help all of her clients, then you will love interacting with Katie.
