John McRae Receives Prestigious Recognition


John McRae Receives Prestigious Recognition MERIDIAN, Miss. (May 7, 2026) – John McRae, senior financial advisor at Citizens National Bank’s Wealth Management Division in Meridian, has been ranked first for the state of Mississippi among the Raymond James-affiliated advisors recently named to the Barron’s list of Top 1,500 Financial Advisors. The list, which recognizes advisors from national, regional and independent firms, was released online March 20, 2026.

McRae joined Citizens National Bank in 1992 as an officer trainee and shortly thereafter launched the bank’s Financial Services Department. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in banking and finance. McRae holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 51 (Municipal Fund Securities Principal), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) Licenses.
