Tim Leitaker Promoted


North Mississippi—Hampton Thames, President and CEO of Citizens National Bank, is pleased to announce Tim Leitaker's promotion to Regional President of the Bank's North Region. This promotion reflects Tim’s outstanding leadership and deep commitment to the communities he serves.

Originally from Carthage, Mississippi, Tim began his banking career with Citizens National Bank in 1994 in the Bank's Meridian market before transferring to Laurel, where he served as an Assistant Vice President. Over the past three decades, he has held various senior leadership roles across Mississippi and returned to CNB in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning, risk management, team building, and financial analysis.

"As a Carthage native now leading the region that includes his hometown, Tim brings valuable insight and a strong understanding of the local markets to this role. We're proud to have him guiding our North Region and serving as a key member of our Executive Leadership Team."

Tim graduated from Mississippi State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is an active member of First Baptist Church in Carthage. He is involved in his community through organizations such as the Leake Academy Athletic Foundation and the Mississippi State University Bulldog Club.
