Todd Pope Promoted Meridian, Miss. — Hampton Thames, President and CEO of Citizens National Bank, is proud to announce the promotion of Stanton Todd Pope to Vice President/Relationship Banker, in recognition of his accomplishments in customer service to members of the bank’s community.

Pope joined the CNB team in 2021 as a Relationship Banker after a 27-year career in the financial industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Mississippi State University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Jones College.

“Todd exemplifies our emphasis on the ‘relationship’ part of ‘relationship banker,’” said Neil Henry, Meridian Regional President. “He really gets to know his customers, understands their needs, and works hard to help them succeed. That’s what we, as Mississippi’s community bank, call The Power of Local.”

Pope supports the community with volunteer service as well as his professional efforts. He Is treasurer for the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation, a committee member for the Illuminations Center for Dyslexia in Meridian, a board member of the Mississippi State University Alumni Association’s Lauderdale County Chapter, and past president of the Downtown Optimist Club of Meridian.

He devotes much of his time to helping youths. He is a committee member for the Meridian Youth Soccer Organization/Alliance Futbol Club, a volunteer assistant with the Northeast Lauderdale High School boys’ soccer team, a volunteer organizer for the annual golf tournament of the Choctaw Area Council of Scouting America, and a volunteer with The SPOT (Special Place for Others to Thrive) in Meridian, helping special needs children through its TOPSoccer, Camp Hoops and Challenger Baseball programs.

He is a member of Northcrest Baptist Church in Meridian.
