Welcome Darren Hardage
MERIDIAN, Miss. — Citizens National Bank welcomes Darren Hardage to the team as senior vice president and Kosciusko and Carthage market president, where he will lead market growth and relationship development efforts in those communities. Hardage brings nearly eight years of experience in consumer, commercial and small business banking.“We are excited to welcome Darren Hardage to Citizens National Bank,” said Tim Leitaker, regional president for Citizens National Bank’s north region, which encompasses the Kosciusko, Carthage, Columbus and Macon markets. “Darren brings a proven record of leadership, production excellence and relationship-driven banking. His strong community ties and broad experience in consumer, commercial and small business banking make him an excellent fit for our organization.”
Hardage most recently served as a business development officer for Origin Bank, managing a commercial loan and deposit portfolio while focusing on relationship growth and customized financial solutions for clients. Previously, he held various leadership roles with Regions Bank, including serving as vice president and branch manager, where he led one of the highest-performing branches in the Jackson metro area. In that role, Hardage oversaw $147 million in consumer assets and $13 million in small business assets.
Throughout his career, Hardage has earned consistent recognition for top performance and leadership. He is a Chairman’s Club award recipient, an honor reserved for the top 10% of performers at Regions Bank. A Mississippi State University and East Central Community College graduate, Hardage holds a bachelor’s degree and an associate’s degree in business administration.
