Welcome Kacey Bailey


Meridian, Miss. — Hampton Thames, President and CEO of Citizens National Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kacey Bailey to the Bank’s Board of Directors. A distinguished attorney with a strong record of service to the legal profession and the community, Bailey brings deep expertise in corporate governance, banking law, and community leadership to the Bank’s Board.

Bailey is a member of the law firm Glover, Young, Hammack, Walton & Simmons, PLLC, in Meridian and has nearly two decades of experience practicing law in Mississippi. Her areas of expertise include advising financial institutions, businesses, utilities, and healthcare providers, and she has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts.

A native of Laurel, Mississippi, and graduate of Laurel High School, Bailey earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University.

She serves on numerous local and statewide boards, including those of the Mississippi Baptist Foundation, The Phil Hardin Foundation, the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation, and the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art. A past president of the local bar association, Bailey has served on The Mississippi Bar’s Committee on Professional Responsibility and the Access to Justice Commission.

Bailey and her husband, Bo, have two daughters, Elizabeth and Grace, who attend West Lauderdale Schools. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian.
