Andy Nichols Joins CNB

Andy Nichols recently joined CNB’s North Region as Columbus Market President. With over 15 years of experience in retail banking, lending, and real estate appraisal, Andy is a great fit for this position and is very familiar with the markets we serve in the North Region. Originally from Olive Branch, Miss., Andy began his career in March 2008 as a Financial Services Representative with First Tennessee Bank in Memphis, and gained valuable experience as he was expected to make 20 to 30 calls each week developing new business. In January 2013, Andy joined Community Bank in Olive Branch as a Loan Officer, where he was also very involved in business development efforts, and assisted clients who were seeking mortgage, business, and personal loans, as well as lines of credit. He continued his career with Community Bank in Hernando, Miss. as a Loan Officer and Branch Manager and continued serving in that position until March 2015 when he became an Assistant Vice President with BankPlus in Southaven, Miss. With Bank Plus, he managed the day-to-day operations of his branch and continued to serve as a lender. From January 2016 to October 2017, Andy continued serving bank customers in the Southaven area as a Vice President with Guaranty Bank and Trust Company where he helped open the new branch and grew a brand new loan and deposit portfolio for the Bank in this area. Since October 2017, Andy has been employed with W. M. Brooks and Associates in Starkville, Miss. where he was actively involved in preparing appraisal reports for their clients. Andy received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2008 from Delta State University in Risk Management and is also a 2017 Graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking at the University of Mississippi.
