Tyler Boyd Joins CNB

Tyler Boyd recently joined CNB’s North Region as Manager of our Southaven Banking Centre. With 11 years of retail banking and sales experience, Tyler was previously employed with Sycamore Bank in Southaven from July 2017 through March 2023 where he served as a Branch Manager and Loan Officer. After Tyler became manager of his location, the branch dramatically improved their growth in loans and deposits. In addition, he helped market his branch throughout the DeSoto County market by networking as much as possible and led his team through a merger with BankFirst. Prior to his years of service with Sycamore Bank/BankFirst, he was employed with SunTrust Bank in Murfreesboro, Tenn. from April 2013 to July 2017. Tyler joined SunTrust as a Financial Services Representative and was first promoted to the position of Assistant Branch Manager and later to Branch Manager. While serving as an Assistant Branch Manager, he led his team’s efforts to become the second highest performing branch in Middle Tennessee. His branch staff was also recognized as the Most Valuable Team on three separate occasions. Originally from McMinnville, Tenn., Tyler began his career as a bank teller at Homeland Community Bank in March 2011 and was employed by the Bank until May 2013. During his years of service, he was voted as one of the best bank tellers in Warren County. Jeffrey Smith, CNB’s North MS Regional President, recently commented: “I’m really excited for our Southaven team to have Tyler in place as their leader. He brings a wealth of experience to his position at the Bank, along with a very inviting and warm personality. I am very confident that he will provide the leadership that will enable our Southaven Banking Centre to flourish,” he added. He and his wife, Heather, have been married for 10 years and have two children: Elijah is 7, and Rivers is 5. The family attends the Olive Branch Church of Christ where he serves as a deacon. Welcome to the CNB family, Tyler. We’re so glad to have you on our team!
