Control Your Debit Card in the Mobile App

Access Card Control features anytime, anywhere through the CNB Mobile App.

Card On/Off Control infoBubble Turning your card off will block most new card-present and card-not-present transactions; however, certain transactions may still process. This includes recurring payments, delayed merchant transactions, and any transactions submitted without real time authorization. Customers must continue monitoring account activity and promptly report unauthorized charges.
Freeze or unfreeze your debit card instantly.
  • Turning your card off blocks all new transactions (recurring payments still process).
  • Turn it on when you’re ready to resume use.
Transaction Controls
  • Global ControlsinfoBubble Spending limits work based on how merchants submit authorization requests. Some transactions may exceed the limit if merchants do not transmit the purchase amount at the time of authorization or if the transaction is processed offline. Transactions that fall outside standard authorization flows may not be restricted.
Set a transaction‑wide spending limit — any purchase above your selected amount will be declined.
  • Merchant Category ControlsinfoBubble Merchant category blocking relies on merchant assigned category codes. These codes are determined by the merchant’s payment processor, not by the bank, and may not always reflect the actual goods or services sold. As a result, some transactions may not be blocked as expected if coded under a different category.
Allow or block entire merchant categories such as groceries, gas, travel, restaurants, entertainment, and more.
  • Payment Category ControlsinfoBubble Payment type controls depend on the information provided by the merchant. If a merchant does not transmit sufficient transaction details or submits the transaction using an unexpected method, the control may not apply. Some ATM, contactless, or card-present transactions may process differently depending on network behavior.
Set spending limits or disable specific payment methods, such as ATM withdrawals, online purchases, mobile wallets, or contactless transactions.
Mobile Alerts infoBubble Alerts are provided as a convenience, and may not be delivered in real time. Delivery is dependent on your mobile carrier, email provider, device settings, and network availability. Alerts should not be used as a primary method for detecting unauthorized activity. Customers should remain responsible for monitoring their accounts and reporting suspicious activity promptly. Message and data rates may apply.
Get real time alerts via SMS, email, or push notifications for purchases, declines, thresholds, and category based activity.

*Card Control features may be unavailable during scheduled maintenance or unexpected service interruptions. Availability and functionality may vary based on device type, operating system, and network connection. Some features may function differently across desktop, iOS and Android devices.

*Card Control features enhance security, but do not replace the bank’s fraud monitoring systems or the customer’s responsibility to monitor account activity. Customers should report unauthorized transactions promptly as required under regulatory guidelines.
