Jackie Brown Promoted

Jackie Brown, who has 27 years of banking experience, has been promoted to Bank Manager at CNB’s North Columbus Banking Centre. Jackie joined the CNB family in July 2012 as an on-call CSR at our East Columbus Banking Centre, and later that year she became a back-up CSR Supervisor, often serving as a mentor for newly hired CSRs. In July 2015, she was promoted to the position of a Personal Banker at CNB’s Macon Branch and transferred to CNB’s North Columbus Banking Center in February 2023 where she continued serving as a Personal Banker and most recently as a Universal Banker. Jeffrey Smith, CNB’s North Mississippi Regional President recently commented, “When the position of North Columbus Bank Manager became open, Jackie was the first person that came to my mind as a perfect fit. She has many years of banking experience, has received CNB’s High Performer Award several times, and I am confident that she will do an excellent job in her new position,” he added. A graduate of S. D. Lee High School in Columbus, Jackie attended Livingston University (which has since been renamed to the University of West Alabama), where she received an Associate’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in computer science. Jackie and her husband Samuel were married in April 2023. She has a 20-year old son, Darrius, and a 20-year old daughter, Darriana. Her son, Darrius, and his wife, Taylor, have two daughters, Khylee and Kenleigh Bullock, and Jackie is a proud grandmother of both. Jackie also commented that after she and her husband were married, “God blessed me with five more beautiful children who are between the ages of 14 and 27. I have a large family with lots of love,” she added. Excited about serving in her new position, Jackie said, “I enjoy seeing my customers light up when I have done my best to help them. I love helping people, and I love seeing them happy,” she added. Outside of the Bank, Jackie says she enjoys attending church, singing, traveling, bowling, and playing pool. Congratulations, Jackie, on this well-deserved promotion!
